How to measure?

Waist measurements:

  1. Take measurements without clothing, it is important that you take the measurement as close to the skin as possible.
  2. Using your belly button as a reference, place the end of the tape measure (from the 0cm point) over your belly button and go all the way around your waist until you can grab the tape measure at the same point where you started.
  3. Try it on loosely; the tape measure should fit snugly but not too tight around your waist. Also, make sure there are no gaps between your skin and the tape measure; if it is a little loose, simply tighten it until it fits snugly.

Please note: The 0 point of the measuring tape should always be at your belly button. Before taking your measurement, check that the measuring tape is not bent or twisted around your waist. It should be completely smooth.

  1. Read the measurement; Without moving the measuring tape, check which number was found at the 0 point, which is the measurement of your waist circumference.

Remember: point 0 is the first line on the tape measure that marks the mm between one cm and the other. You should take the first line as a reference, there are tape measures that start flat and others that give space before measuring.

Please note: when taking the measurement, the correct number is always the one below the line. In other words, if the 0 point is between 60 and 61 cm, then your waist measures 61 cm and not 60 cm. If point 0 points to a line below (one of the short lines that indicate mm), this means that your waist is 61 cm.

Hip measurements:

  1. Take the measurements without clothing, it is important that you take the measurement as close to the skin as possible. If this is not possible, we recommend taking the measurements in only underwear or a tight swimsuit. Your body must remain relaxed to perform the measurements.
  1. Measure around the fullest part of your buttocks; go all the way around your hips and let the tape measure run just above this protruding point, until you can grab the other end of the tape measure. Place the 0 point of the tape measure in the middle of your front so that you can read the measurement.
  1. Try it on loosely; the tape measure should fit snugly but not too tight around your waist. Also, make sure there are no gaps between your skin and the tape measure; if it is a little loose, simply tighten it until it fits snugly.

Please note: The 0 point of the measuring tape should be placed in the middle of the front, near the pubic area, and should not be moved. Before taking your measurement, check that the measuring tape is not bent or twisted. It should be completely smooth.

  1. Read the measurement; without moving the tape measure, check which number is found with the 0 point, that will be your measurement.

Please note: the 0 point is the first line on the measuring tape that indicates the mm between one cm and the next. You should take the first line as a reference, there are measuring tapes that start flat and others that give a space before they measure.

Please note: when taking the measurement, the correct number is always the one below the line. In other words, if the 0 point is between 80 and 81 cm, then your waist measures 81 cm and not 80 cm. If point 0 points to a line below (one of the short lines that indicate mm), this means that your waist is 81 cm.
